A new working day with Trolle – here is what it looks like
What does a working day look like once the paper notes are gone? We follow a supervisor at a service company through an entirely ordinary Tuesday – with Trolle in their pocket.
07:00 – The overview
First coffee in one hand, phone in the other. The Overview tab shows the state of the day: eight work orders, three ongoing since yesterday, five vehicles on the map. Two technicians have already clocked in at customer sites. No ring-around, no notes – just a clear picture of where things stand.
10:30 – The urgent job
The phone rings: a customer has a production stoppage. Instead of redrawing the whole day on a whiteboard, the supervisor drags an urgent job into the calendar and drops it on the nearest available technician. The technician gets the update straight on their phone – with the customer's history, the right products and a checklist.
13:00 – Out in the field
The technician records time against the right work order, photographs the worn part that was replaced and ticks off the checklist. The distance driven? The driving log writes itself, automatically, while the van rolls towards the next job.
16:00 – Ready to invoice
When the last work order of the day is closed everything is already in place: hours, materials, distance and photos. The data is ready to invoice with one click – not in two weeks once the notes have been found, but now.
The upshot:
- No double reporting – everything is recorded once, on site
- Full visibility in real time – for management and field alike
- Faster to invoice – the revenue stops leaking
