Sustainability you can prove – without a single extra form

The question comes up more and more often – in the tender, from the major customer, sometimes from the bank: "How do you work with sustainability?" For a smaller haulier or service company the answer has so far meant the same thing: another form to fill in, figures to dig up, a consultant to hire.

We think there is a better answer. Most of the data already exists.

The data collects itself

If your vehicles and machines are connected in Trolle they already report distances, fuel consumption, operating hours and driving behaviour – automatically, without anyone writing anything down. Working time is recorded as the job is done. Deviations are logged where they happen. That is precisely the raw material a sustainability report needs.

This is what we are building right now

On top of that foundation we are currently building sustainability reporting straight out of Trolle:

  • A finished sustainability report – built on established reporting frameworks for small and medium-sized companies, including only what is relevant to your particular operation.
  • The policy document "This is how we work with sustainability" – the document you attach to the tender or send to the customer who asks. What do we want? What do we do? How is it going?
  • CO2 per customer – comparable year on year and month on month, and green routes compared with ordinary ones. Figures your customers can use in their own reporting.

Sustainability is also people

Environmental figures are half the picture. So we are building in the social side at the same time:

  • "How was your working day?" – a tap on a smiley when the working day closes, a few times a week. HR sees trends per person and team – never individual days or exact answers.
  • Customer satisfaction per work order – one tap for the customer when the job is done, collected per customer and team over time.

Why it matters

A sustainability report built on the same data as the invoicing is hard to question. No after-the-fact construction, no estimates in a spreadsheet – just the same distances, hours and events that can already be traced in the system. That is the difference between saying you work sustainably and being able to show it.

Are sustainability requirements already a reality in your everyday work? Get in touch – we are building this together with our customers, and the first to try it get to shape the result.
